College attended: I have an Associate Degree from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from Marshall University, and I am currently pursuing National Board Certification.
Reason you became a teacher: I not only wanted to be a teacher, but I wanted to be a teacher to the kids in my community. I wanted to empower them to follow their dreams like so many of my teachers did for me. I work hard every day to ensure my students know they can do and be anything they want. I truly love my students, my school, and my community.
