7th and 8th parents: If your child sold Little Caesar's Pizza Kits they will be available to pick up tomorrow, March 20, from 3:00-5:00pm in the Library.
There will be no afterschool at Harts PK-8 or at Big Ugly Community Center today, March 14, 2023.
Due to bus driver being sick, 166 will not be running the rest of the week. Students that ride 166 can meet Jr. Mullins bus 165 at the intersection of Big ugly Creek Rd and Greenshoal Intersection at 6:45 am and 3:10 pm.. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as they try to cover vacant bus runs.
***Due to pending weather forecast and safety concerns, Lincoln County Schools will be releasing students on a 2 hours early today, March 3rd, 2023 Reminder: Due to drivers' sickness, Bus 2121 and Bus 166 will not be running today, Friday, March 3rd. The students that ride Bus 166 can meet Bus 165 at the Big Ugly Creek and Greenshoals intersection at 1:10 PM. The students that ride Bus 2121 will need to a parent/guardian to pick them up today. For Duval and LCHS - The DOH has completed road repairs on Left Fork Road in the Alkol area and Bus 163 will be running the normal route. For Harts PK-8 - The DOH has completed road repairs on Low Gap in the Harts area and Bus 163 will be running the normal route.
Due to the recent flooding, Bus 2122 will not be running Low Gap in the Harts Area until further notice. The students can meet Bus 2122 at the intersection of Low Gap Road and East Fork Road at 6:30 AM for morning pick up and 3:00 PM for evening drop off. We will be assessing this road daily and will begin running it as soon as it is safe.
This is a reminder that Monday, February 20, is a professional learning day. Students will not report.
The road is open and buses are transporting students home.
The road is still blocked on Route 10 where the power pole was down. Harts PK-8 students have been transported back to the school. Students will be transported home as soon as the road is clear. We will send along updates as we receive them.
The road at Harts is now passable and the power pole has been removed. Buses will be transporting students home.
A power pole has fallen and blocked the road to bus traffic near the State Road garage on Route 10. Buses are not allowed through at this time. Power is out at the school. Students who live toward Ranger from the Harts PK-8 school are being held at the school u til buses are allowed through. We will share more information as updates become available. Students are safe at their school building at this time.
Harts PK-8 is conducting the third active threat drill of the year tomorrow, February 8th, at approximately 9:20 a.m. These drills are important for school safety, and Lincoln County Schools is committed to the safety of all students and staff.
Harts PK-8 will be releasing at 9:30am due to a loss of electricity. .
Reminder: Harts Pk-8 will have their Christmas program today, December 20th, at 8:30. Everyone is invited to attend but we ask that all guest stay in the gym after signing in.
A friendly reminder: Last call for Talent Show DVDs. These will cost $15 and money must be brought in by Monday, December 12, 2022.
